In JW we got a brand new dinosaur, Indominus Rex! I love the movie, but the hybrid is a little underwhelming. It wa chocked up to be a brand new super dangerous hybrid. While it is intelligent and dangerous, it didn’t seem like it quite lived up to its potential. Please correct me, but I don’t think we ever actually see the I Rex use it’s camouflage abilities. The trees shot just looks like the light is falling on it not changing color. We could have had even cooler hybrids. So we get JW:FK and the Indoraptor is a little better. It was less dissatisfying because it’s purpose was to be a smaller I rex. But I’m disappointed most by Scorpius Rex. It was supposed to be a new hybrid and I thought they’d get more creative. But we got a rehashed Indoraptor with venomous spines and a smashed face. The smashed face did have an eerie look, which I wish they could have tried to make the creepiness more in the design, by making the design more disproportionate.

I know this isn’t a very original topic, and it’s been discussed before, but I thought it was fitting to say after Scorpius Rex

expecting the worst, sets you up for thr worst

Scorpius rex was made with scorpionfish DNA, one of the most venomous creatures on Earth, it seems to regrow the venom spines on its tail very quickly so it could inject multiple doses of the venom. It's also much larger than Indoraptor so it might have a size advantage.
