MemberChestbursterOct-01-2017 8:24 AMI am not even half-way through the prequel novel and it is, like, reading something out of Balderunner. The novel is insteresting, but I honestly don't like the bladerunner feel! I am not a supporter (per say) of the franchises melting together. The Alien canon has been damn fluid for, like, ever! Especially recently. Now, if a Bladerunner/Alien merger occurs, we are in for another shift in mythology and continuity. Well, more the continuity part.

Certain things go together and if it's done well great but some things don't and currently alien stuff is way off the mark! Now if Denis Villeneuve is directing possibly theres hope... Arrival was brilliant!

Yes I have seen the new blade runner and it's quiet good... Doesn't have the extra specialness of the first one but still well done and in the same style just slightly updated. Looks like it's ready for sequels as well...
