ah,haven't done one of these in a while. ok lets go!

10.tarbosaurus. 6,00 to 12,00 pounds

this animal is often said to be the asian brother of the great t.rex. this beast was smaller but was still a fearsome powerhouse with a incediblebly poweful bite force of 6,000 to 12,000 pounds! wow that is quite the bite.

9.torvosaurus(american variant) 6,000 to 12,000 pounds

now i this is the same as above in terms of sheer jaw force.this jurassic t.rex is a truely fearsome beast wich had a highly powerful bite. this animal was about 33 to 35 feet long and 5 to 6 tons. he used his weapons to bring down iridiculusly tough prey like camptosaurus and fight against powerful rivals like ornithelestes.

8.acrocanthosaurus. 7,000 to 12,500 pounds

this is an unusal allosaurid because he is abnormally muscular even for a charcaradontosaurid this was an animal that had to have a strong bite and body so it can fully secure his meal. he lived with one of the biggest animals ever. saroposiden, this sauropod was truly huge at over 75 tons in weight and 120 feet long! compare that to the 39 foot, 6 ton acrocanthosaur.

 7.triceratops. 10,00 to 13,000 pounds

what!!! a herbivore on the top ten most powerful bite list! how could this be?!?!?! its ok guys i will explain. triceratops has a small but pointed, sharp beak with an overbite and regulary eats twigs and such. so this beast could snap the branches it ate an d the leg of a t.rex.

6.giganotosaurus. 8,000 to 12,000 pounds

now this is your typical characradontosaurid but he is representing his cfamily as a whole. there is not much to say about him that wasnt already sated. other that this is a cool animal indee and needed its bite to make a quick kill.

5.tyrannotitan. 11,000 pounds.

what happens when the giant lizzard from the south mates with the tyrant lizzard king? the hellish spawn that  comes out is tyrannotitan. this beast was bulky and musculer, like t.rex but had the bite and head and arms of a giga. his arms were shorter then most allosaurids but his skull was more robust. And his arms were most likely stronger then others to.

4.ekrinatosaurus.10,000 pounds

this beast was an abeliasaurid and unlike most other abeliasaurids, this one is an active hunter and can fight. With very powerful jaws to make up for his small and weak arms. Though their arms were big by abeliasaurid standards. This beast was truly an impressive animal with a lot of power in his body.

3. Torvosaurus(European variant) 9,000 to 12,000 pounds.

ok, don't be surprised that a megalosaurid made it in this list. Due to their enhanced jaw mechanical advantage, this means that they could bite harder. This torvo was about 39 to 40 feet long which makes it a immense animal. He could bite with incredible power. This was a devil child of a weird relationship of a Tyrannosaurus rex and a tyrannotitan. It's got the powerful, large arms. The jaws were similar in a way that the teeth were somewhat the same. The torvo has a body like that of rex and a strong bite of one to. Couple that with his large, wickedly clawed, highly muscles arms and you got a fearsome Dino.

2. t.rex 10,000 to 20,000 pounds.

are you surprised he is so high up on this list? Well he is... With a powerful bite and railroad spikes for teeth this animal had a pretty big bite. He needed it to sucsessfully kill the smaller but very dangerous armored prey such as triceratops and ankylosaurs. well there is not much else to say on him besides that you guys are probably rioting due to the fact that he only got second best.

1. Ceratopsipes 10,000 to 30,000 pounds.

what!?!? Why is this overgrown triceratops that may not even be real ahead of t.rex!!!!!???? Well I will have to support the hell out of this. Ceratopsipes is know from only a footprint  but lets say if is real. At 33 to 40 feet long and 14 tons it is garuntee to have a big biteforce. With  a huge, sharp, curved beak enabled it to crush anything if bit.

I assume this isn't finished. Future reference, post when it's done.

PS- I wouldn't exactly call Ornithelestes a powerful rival, lol

None of these compare to the whopping 80 ton bite force that is Godzilla's.

Good grief.

ornitholestes beats all ;) i'm curious to see if any ceratopsians make the list...doubt it, but it'd be neat

Done this kind of list before myself. I'll be honest, I find many of these extremely high.

Even at that. Many estimates for T.rex(often credited with the most powerful bite) range between 3-23 tons psi, but often center around 5-7 tons.

megalodon is a shark, not a dinosaur..

I wouldn't put Ceratopsipes up there. Not enough evidence to prove its freakin' existence.

I doubt a Trike's bite would be that powerful as well. Where the Ceratopsians have a nasty bite is the small area the force is applied. It would be like pinching your finger in a car door. Doesn't have to be too hard, but God does it hurt.

Jack of all trades. Master of none

there might be a slight chance that people dont like it when i consider ceratopsipes a valid dinosar species, but i dont care in the slightest.
